His Deep Love

So many people see God as against people. We all have sin. A person who judges another is just as much as a sinner as the one he is judging. God loves everyone of us! He loves Osama Bin Laden, He loves the Westboro Baptist Church, He loves Obama, and Oprah. He loves Sarah Palin, he loves GW Bush, He loves me and you! He loves gay people, He loves people who don't believe in him, He loves Muslims, He love people who have ended a pregnancy. He is saddened when people rebuke him, or tell/believe lies about Him, or do things to cause pain to themselves or others, but He is not out to get us. We are not called to judge each other, we are called to love one another. He is for us, on our team. He desires to love us. He sent His Son to take on every single sin past present and future, so we can have a relationship with God. He wants to walk with us. He is on my team, how about yours?

Romans31-36, 31 What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? 32 He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things? 33 Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies. 34 Who then is the one who condemns? No one. Christ Jesus who died—more than that, who was raised to life—is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us. 35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? 36 As it is written:

“For your sake we face death all day long;
we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.” {Psalm 44:22}

37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons,[k] neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

HIS GRACE SAVES US!!!!

This is hard for a lot of Christians to understand. I know it took me years to finally grasp it! My pastor always says that when Christ came to the world, sinners did not run from Him bc He was condemning. Rather they flocked to Him because of His message of forgiveness and love. Just this Sunday, my pastor said "the Bible is not to be used to beat people down but to build people up". So true...so true!!
