Still no internet at the new house

So Im stuck with not internet at home. Aaaaaah! This makes blogging super difficult. Little brother has made my belly quite large...no pics on the PC. Halloween was super fun, boy made out like a bandit. I really need to update more soon. I just wanted to say hello to all my poor readers who may feel abandoned.

Autumn, Boy, and Little Brother

No shortage of the color blue in this house!

So I had an ultrasound. Most of you know I was hoping for a girl, I was so afraid to be disapointed. But the morning of the ultrasound we had a wonderful breakfast at a little Christian cafe near the imaging center. They have a nice collection of Willow tree figurines there (I collect them). I was looking at the collection and one caught my eye it is called "Brothers"

this figure touched my heart so deeply I began to cry, and at that moment I knew. There would be two active spunky little boys in this family. Almost exactly 4 years apart.
And all the worries of being disapointed at the lack of pink in my home went away.

In the office watching the screen I was waiting to see...lo and behold he showed us. "Here I am mom, dad, and big brother! See I am a boy!" He is so ACTIVE already! Hes dancing and kicking and just being a boy!

I thank my Heavenly Father for giving me just who he needs me to raise! They will look much like the boys in the figurine. Such a beautiful and humbling thaught to know I am not in charge!

PS the imaging center doesnt give out pics. We may go to another place to get some later in my pregnancy. Seeing as how I am still only 19 weeks.

My husband really needs prayers right now for some personal things. Pray also that God gives me the strenth to help him through this trying time.

Moving on up!

Accually we are moving slightly down the highway. I just talked to our soon to be landlord, who is one of the sweetest ladies I have ever spoken to. We are filling out our application tomorrow! I will take some pictures when we go pick up the paper work.
As much as I dislike our current place I will miss some things:

Speaking of the pool, we had a fun day by the pool last week with my sister, grandmother, niece, and nephews.

Vacation and Finding a new home

We we went on a tiny vacation to the coast. It was just a day trip, but it was so nice. The first time we have gone so far out of town and not to a grandparents house. We spend most of the day in Corpus at the Texas State Aquarium. After we made the short drive to Port Aransas. I took a bazilloin pictures at the aquarium and left the camera in the car at the beach. Who wants sand in a brand new camera? So I will share some of my favorites of the trip then I will discuss us moving.

So we saw an ad in the church paper for a rental house for 390 less than our rent now! So I called of course and we saw the house and its ADORABLE! Pray pray pray we get to rent this house PLEASE! The back yard is huge too!

Birthday and a Short Trip

Today was Dustins 26th birthday! To celebrate we went to the outlet malls in San Marcos to do a bit of shopping. We had so much fun. It took Dustin 12 or more stores before he finally found something he liked. Banana Republic of all stores had some great deals and he got some nice clothes. We also got a couple kitchen things, a cool pitcher and some shatter proof cups. I also got a camera bag to go with...MY NEW CAMERA! I got a Sony Alpha 200. Its awesome!

Destroyed!

I had my camera last night taking pictures of the fire works and stuff...my clouded pregnant brain left it on the ground. When we left it was left...and it was run over. My camera is no more. I praise GOD my memory card was saved! Here are some pictures!

So Hard to post!

I have been a serious slacker on this blogging thing! And in other parts of my life. I have been soooooooo tired! At almost 11 weeks I cant seem to sleep enough and then boy takes more energy. Plus Dustin like the house to be somewhat clean when he gets home after working 10 hours. So what I'm getting at is I need more hours in my day...LOL....just for sleeping.

I do have my first Midwife appointment tomorrow! So maybe I will get some energy to post then.

Doing it Naturaly

When Boy was born I went to the county hospital, was induced, and had an epidural. They took him away for 4 hours...yes 4 of them! I was so upset, they claimed he was not keeping body temp. Now that I look back I know the easiest remedy for that.

This time around I am making so MAJOR changes! My hubby and I are doing natural child birth at the local birthing center with a midwife and no drugs! My BFF R will be my Doula and I am going to let my niece catch if she wants to. Niece is 9 and has wanted to deliver babies since she could tell us she wanted to deliver babies.

My first official apointment is July 1st at 11AM! I am beyond excitment at this point. The whole world know my eggo is preggo and I cannot wait to have my family grow!

Expecting

Another miracle! I am currently 4 weeks and 2days. My EDD is Jan 23 2009! We are so thrilled! God has truly outdone himself. I was a tad bit confused on Thursday when my cycle didn't start. I knew I was not pregnant. Even though Boy told me I was two weeks ago. I just knew there was no way. My mom came over and I asked he to stay while I tested. We have been trying for 6 months and when the faint line showed I thought I was imagining things. So I yelled for my mom to come look at the test. She confirmed both lines and I began to scream! Friday we confirmed with a blood test. Dustin was so exuberant he nearly gave the girl about to cut his hair a heart attack! Boy cannot wait to be a big brother. He is so excited that he told my dad about his new crocks before he motioned the baby. Hooray for a growing family!

Miracle of a New Car!

Miracles happen still! Last night we went to church and realized we took the right steps in getting a new car. We really needed a new car. So we stated "We need a new car", "God we trust you to put us in the car you want for us", So we got in our old car and drove to Carmax after looking online just a bit. We looked and test drove the car I wanted, a 2006 Chrystler Pacifica. We tried to get it and they wanted 4000 down. WOW! So we decided lets look at a cheeper car, the Malibu Maxx, it was alright. It was smooth but the car seat(s) wouldnt fit very well. We went back in to see if it could be financed, 2000 down...hmmmmmmmm. Well the sales manager took a closer look at Dustins paystub, "wait you have made more this year than you biweekly pay." Well yes Dustin gets bonuses. So they took that into consideration, running both cars. And the PACIFICA won! 200 down WOOHOO! After 7 hours at Carmax, yes 7, we drove away with the car I wanted. We get better gas milage, the A/C works, and all 4 windows work!
